Ritorikí tou Gnostikoú Schimatismoú

Books are rhetoric that forms a "Pattern" in a "Thought". This pattern is formed from the interaction of 3 components:

  • Noetic: The ability to think rationally and logically
  • Pathetic: The ability to feel emotions and intuition
  • Dialectical: The ability to interact with the environment and reality

Dengan memahami pola ini, kita dapat memecahkan skisma antara pengetahuan dan realitas, serta menemukan kebenaran yang lebih dalam.

Chapter 1: The Schism of Knowledge

Human knowledge has always been divided into two:

  1. Rational Knowledge: Obtained through logic, analysis, and observation.
  2. Intuitive Knowledge: Obtained through feelings, faith, and experience.

The two are like two sides of the same coin, inseparable yet often at odds. This creates a schism within us, leaving us confused about choosing between:

  • What do we know (rational)
  • What we believe (intuitive)

By combining both, we can achieve "Holistic Knowledge".

    Chapter 2: Holistic Knowledge

Holistic Knowledge is a combination of:

  1. Rational Knowledge (logic, analysis)
  2. Intuitive Knowledge (feelings, faith, experience)
  3. Contextual Knowledge (understanding situations and conditions)

    Thus, we can obtain:

  • Higher awareness
  • Deeper understanding
  • Wider decisions

    Simple example:

    - Rational: Data shows that the company will go bankrupt

    - Intuitive: You feel that the company still has potential

    - Contextual: Understand the economic and industry situation

With Holistic Knowledge, you can make more informed decisions.

Chapter 3: Overcoming Schism with Rhetoric

Rhetoric is the art of effective speaking and thinking. In overcoming the schism of knowledge, rhetoric can be used to:

  1. Identifying assumptions: Finding false or incomplete assumptions
  2. Analyzing arguments: Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of arguments
  3. Developing critical thinking: Making wiser decisions

There are 3 types of rhetoric:

  • Ethos Rhetoric: Speaking with integrity and credibility
  • Pathos Rhetoric: Speaking with emotion and persuasion
  • Logos Rhetoric: Speaking with logic and rationality

Chapter 4: Applying Rhetoric in Everyday Life

Rhetoric is not only for debates or speeches, but also for:

  1. Effective communication in personal and professional relationships
  2. Problem solving with better analysis and solutions
  3. Wider and more accurate decision making

    Examples of rhetorical applications:

    In conversation:

  • Using Ethos Rhetoric to Build Trust
  • Using Pathos Rhetoric to Understand the Interlocutor's Emotions

    In work:

  • Using Logos Rhetoric to analyze data and make decisions
  • Using Ethos Rhetoric to build credibility with clients or bosses

How would you like to apply rhetoric in everyday life?

Chapter 5: Overcoming Resistance and Criticism with Rhetoric

In the face of resistance and criticism, rhetoric can be used to:

  1. Identifying sources of resistance: Understanding other people's motivations and concerns
  2. Building empathy: Understanding other people's perspectives and feelings
  3. Developing a strong argument: Making a logical and rational argument

There are 3 types of resistance:

  • Logical Resistance: Criticism of arguments or data
